Reservations are now being taken for travel from Jan. 28 through December 2016, with rates starting at $659 per person, per night, double.
“The plans for Sandals Barbados are thrilling. We can’t wait for our guests to book these rooms,” said Sandals founder Butch Stewart.
The resort is the former Couples Barbados, which Sandals acquired in 2013.
The 280-room Sandals Barbados will feature a number of beachfront butler suites and swim-up river suites; indoor and outdoor soaking tubs; 11 restaurants, including the brand’s first Indian restaurant; the Red Lane Spa; WiFi; fire pits; several bars; an oceanfront main pool with swim-up bar; two tennis courts; an amphitheater overlooking the beach for nightly entertainment; and off-site excursions arranged through Island Routes Caribbean Adventures.
The resort will offer a number of wedding venues, as well.
